Guidance, downloads and wellbeing support for GPs in the Borders
The LMC ensures colleagues can access mental health services discreetly and promptly, with the Secretary, Chair or Medical Director able to assist with referral.
GPs can self-refer to NHS Borders Occupational Health, with the LMC able to assist confidentially via the local Medical Director.
A substantial fund set up by Borders GPs to assist colleagues and their families experiencing financial hardship, assessed individually by trustees with guidance from the LMC accountant.
Further support is available through the Sick Doctors Trust, BMA Wellbeing Support, The Cameron Fund, Doctors' Support Network, National Wellbeing Hub and Workforce Specialist Service.
